Michael John Loveall Run for Children Challenge

You, too, can run or walk!

Get ready for the 2nd annual Michael John Loveall Run for Children Challenge

In June 2012, an asthmatic, a couch potato and a desk jockey defied the odds and ran a half-marathon with only five months of training. Now, once again, the memory of Michael John Loveall — who passed away suddenly on Jan. 5, 2012 — is inspiring others to overcome personal limits.

It’s time to do it again! And this time, you’re invited to run or walk!

The Loveall Foundation for Children seeks participants in the 2013 Michael John Loveall Run for Children Challenge on May 18. Participants may register for the "Run For Nature" race in Folsom, Calif., and choose between a 5K or 10K run, a 5K walk, a 1/2-mile youth fun run and/or the Wild Way extreme obstacle course. The brave can even combine a walk or run with the obstacle course to create their own personal challenge!

Michael’s challenge is an annual event because, year in and year out, day in and day out, countless children must confront far greater challenges than most people ever face.

The mission of the foundation is to directly help as many of children as we can.

Runners/walkers (and even crawlers!) can register online by May 12th.

Participants are encouraged to commit to raising a minimum of $500 for this year’s
Michael John Loveall Run for Children Challenge. Of course, the more money raised, the more children will benefit directly from the effort.
Sponsor a participant online by May 12th.
